Lesley’s work draws from her training in Cranio Sacral Therapy, Humanistic Counselling and Therapeutic Massage, as well as advanced work with babies and families, prenatal and birth process, and in the safe and gentle resolution of trauma. She also practices in and teaches, Focusing, which develops intuition, compassion and self-awareness through listening to the body and the felt sense. From Lesley’s own experiences both of giving birth and of processing her own birth, she has special interest in working with babies, mothers-to-be and new parents and in resolving infant childhood trauma.
Cranio Sacral Therapy is a deeply healing, whole body treatment and is safe for all ages from newborn babies to the elderly. Using sensitive touch on the clothed body, the practitioner listens and responds to patterns and rhythms within the client, releasing tension, easing restrictions and supporting the body’s own power to heal itself.
